Fortinuex Virtual Reunion |
| The Fortineux Family, Inc. (FFI) held an on-line family reunion using Zoom on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Approximately twelve cousins from across the United States and Canada participated. FFI Vice President and DNA Coordinator Phil Goff provided an update on the YDNA testing efforts and discussed plans for future testing. FFI Secretary-Treasurer Beverly Fortney Leeming told the story of her great-grandfather, William Boardman Fortney, and his descendants with an excellent presentation of family pictures and documents. FFI President Lee Michael told the story of his family's involvement in the famous events at Harpers Ferry. The reunion was recorded and is available for replay to FFI members. |
